We first met D + N at Kristina + Daniel's insane Cedar Lakes wedding in Port Jervis back in 2016. We partied with them in the rain and out of it. When Deanna reached out for us to document HER wedding we were ecstatic. Crazy parties follow other crazy parties ....it's like a party train and we just hop on the caboose and ride it out with a bunch of friends for a few years!! Their party did not disappoint!
Deanna reached out and asked me to travel to Nick's parents house on a lake up in the Poconos. OK. You don't have to ask me twice....you had me at lake. I started out on the 3 hour ride and it started to monsoon. So, this was half exciting and part terrifying because I love the idea of a moody sky over a lake but hate the idea that I may travel that far and they will want to cancel. Au contraire, i got there and it was pouring, but we took the boat out anyway. It was amazing and we had a BLAST. The pictures speak for themselves so I'll shut up about that. After our encounter, I knew their wedding was going to be awesome.
Sometimes, weddings in January are COLD. LOL! (Everyone always acts surprised when their winter wedding is cold...so I am playing the part of surprised .. {Sarcasm}). D + N got really lucky because it was mild and not too shabby for photos. We loved lights glowing around you and sparking a little more magic in an already beautiful day complete with Glitter Bomb!!!! That was fun. REALLY fun...I think that may be one of my more favorite girl prep shots ever.
Thank you ladies and gents for continuing the party train. Can't wait to see you at the next wedding!! #nickgetsthedee #nickyndee143
