First words out of this fellow wedding photographers mouth...."I am super picky about choosing a photographer but your work stood out to me and I had to reach out!....NO PRESSURE. NO pressure at all! First thing I see when I show up to meet Kate + Scott for their engagement shoot....a puppy!! PRESSURE RELEASED. Kate's dad - a.k.a. the puppy sitter confirmed that we must be pretty good or we wouldn't be the ones doing his talented daughters wedding. OK, I got this. AGAIN. It is always a huge compliment when fellow artists hire us but it also comes with incredible responsibility that we do not take lightly.
Downtown Collingswood is quirky and photogenic. SO take two really good lookin' peeps and a brand spankin' new puppy complete with baby breath and well, you've got some magic. Can't say I needed to travel around the area much to find really cool little spots to let these two shine. Thanks to the really cool owners at this incredibly cool retro shop called Dig This on the main strip in town, we were off to the races with color and texture and maybe just a little weird. Cuz, why not?! Kate is weirder than she lets on and I knew they would be into this.
Scott hid the fact that he hates being photographed pretty damn well. After getting their images he wrote me a little love note (sorry Kate, but he did, NOT SORRY :) ...:
"Great stuff, Karmapants! I hate getting my picture taken and am not a fan of how I look in them 90% of the time but I enjoyed our session and the pictures are incredible! Can’t wait to work with you next fall!"
OK. I'll take that as a win. See you in the fall love bugs!
